Creating a project
Open Projects from the rail. Press New project, give the project a name and, if you like, a short description of what it is about, then create it. The project opens on its Files page, where you add models and documents.
If you have no projects yet, the page says so and offers the same New project button. Every model, folder, finding and rule set belongs to exactly one project, so a project is the first thing you need.
Opening a project
On the Projects page, select a project to open its Files page. From there the left rail takes you to that project's Files and to Assure, where its models are checked.
You only see projects you are a member of. A project someone else created appears in your list once its owner adds you.
Project settings
On a project's Files page, open Project settings. The dialog has three parts: Members, Rule sets and IDS specs.
Members shows who has access to the project and their role; press Manage members to change it. Rule sets holds the project's versions of the rules Assure checks against. IDS specs holds the project's saved IDS specifications.
Members and project roles
Open Project settings, then Manage members. To add someone, enter their email, choose their role and press Add. To change a member's role, use the role control on their row. Remove takes a member off the project, and you can remove yourself to leave it.
There are three project roles. An owner has full control: the project itself, its members, and every file action including publishing. An editor can change content: upload and delete files, share them, start a new version, run an analysis, work on findings and manage IDS specifications. An editor cannot change the project's members or delete the project. A viewer can open everything in the project and can comment, and cannot change anything else.
A project always keeps at least one owner. Only an owner can manage members or delete the project.
For an owner, each member's row also carries the member's ISO 19650 workflow roles and an Approver switch. Workflow roles decide who may check, review, approve and authorise a file as it moves between states. The Approver switch marks a member who may waive a critical finding in Assure. Members who are not owners see each person's role and whether they are an approver, and cannot change either.
Deleting a project
Only an owner can delete a project. On the Projects page, use Delete project on the project and confirm. Deleting a project removes its files, folders, findings and settings with it, and cannot be undone.
